The quiz result is an estimate
The Fitzpatrick test on this site returns an estimate of your phototype based on the answers you give about your features and how your skin reacts to the sun. It runs entirely in your browser using the standard self-assessment questions the scale is built on.
Because it depends on your own self-reported answers and the limits of a short questionnaire, your result is a helpful starting point, not a precise or clinical measurement. Two people can answer slightly differently and land on neighboring types. Use your result as guidance for choosing sun care, and confirm anything that matters to your health with a professional who can assess your skin in person.
